Museum Staff and Area Teachers Travel to Germany and Greensburg


Westmoreland Museum of American Art staff Barbara L. Jones, Chief Curator, and Amy Baldonieri, Assistant Director for Advancement, along with Stephanie Grace, French teacher at Greensburg-Salem High School, will arrive in Oberhausen, Germany on November 11 to meet with LVR-Industriemuseum staff Stephanie Buchholz, Project Coordinator, and Thomas Schleper, Curator, in conjunction with Building a Transatlantic Bridge, a partnership between The Westmoreland and the LVR-Industriemuseum, located in Oberhausen. During their visit, they will tour the various former industrial sites that have been transformed into cultural destinations, as well as visit with teachers and students at three participating Oberhausen high schools.
